Stills from the holiday movie I never shot

In July 2020, my partner and I drove from Bristol to Sussex for a few days away from home. We booked a campsite, packed the car with food and camping gear, and left. We avoided the motorway, meandering out ways through a-roads and b-roads instead.

The following days we met up with friends, explored Ashdown Forest, swam in the sea, and drank pints in pubs until it was time to head home.
Once again, we left the motorway behind, beginning our journey back through the narrowest roads we could find until Winchester where we took to a-roads, choosing different ones than on our eastward ride.

I carried with me a point and shoot camera from early 2011. It left me with very little camera control outside of the flash. I used it to capture all of the images of this zine, shooting stills as if I were, recording a film of our holiday.
